**Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift** **Location:** Colville & Chewelah, WA **Position Type:** Full-Time, 3x12-Hour Night Shifts (19:00 - 07:00) **Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a critical access hospital setting. This position will require floating between two facilities, providing vital respiratory care for patients of all ages, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide respiratory therapy to patients, including advanced therapies and critical care interventions. - Float between Providence Mount Carmel Hospital in Colville and Providence St Joseph's Hospital in Chewelah. - Perform essential respiratory procedures including arterial punctures, bronchial provocation testing, and diffusion testing. - Administer medications and manage patient care equipment such as BiPAP and high flow nasal cannula. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care. - Maintain accurate patient records and charting using the Epic system. **Qualifications:** - Current valid Washington state respiratory therapy license or Compact RN license. - Certified in ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and RRT. - Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience. - Experience with charting system Epic is required. - Ability to manage patient ratio of 1:3. **Special Requirements:** - Must be comfortable floating between two facilities. - Must be available to work weekends every other week. - Orientation and modules are part of the onboarding process. **Patient Care Specifics:** - Patient care will primarily involve adults and geriatric populations, though experience with family maternity and OB is preferred. - Daily census varies; familiarity with critical access hospital environments is an asset. **Compliance:** - All compliance documents must be submitted before the start of the assignment, including supervisory references. - Must be flexible with scheduling and able to adhere to contracted hours. --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
