**Job Title: Neuro Registered Nurse (RN)** **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday) **Call Requirements:** One night per week and every 5th weekend **Contract Length:** 13-20 weeks available for holiday coverage **Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced Neuro Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced Neuro Endovascular Department that is part of a comprehensive stroke center. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver nursing care to patients, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, in a neuro-focused environment. - Monitor patient vital signs and perform complex procedures such as mechanical thrombectomy, cerebral angiograms, and carotid stent placements. - Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. - Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families. - Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines while maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere. **Qualifications:** - Current certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license. - Minimum of 2 years of Neuro nursing experience required, with charge experience preferred. - Current ARRT registration and BLS certification are mandatory. - Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Epic, is required. - Travel experience is necessary, with flexibility to float to other units when needed. **Additional Information:** - Orientation occurs every Monday, with modules required for all travelers to complete prior to starting. - Floating to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses may be required based on census needs. - To be eligible for travel contracts, candidates must be located 100 miles away from any Prisma facility. **Join our dedicated team and contribute to providing exceptional care for patients experiencing neurological challenges!** --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
