**Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a 3x12-hour night shift schedule, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This role primarily involves working with adult patients experiencing a range of behavioral health disorders. The ideal candidate will possess strong assessment and clinical skills, and be able to provide support and care in a structured environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to adults with various psychiatric disorders including anxiety disorders, bipolar disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and trauma-related conditions. - Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed, including blood glucose monitoring and adherence to seclusion protocols. - Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and develop effective treatment plans. - Respond effectively to crisis situations and utilize de-escalation techniques as needed. - Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients. - Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic medical records (EMR). - Participate in psychoeducation sessions and engage with patients to promote understanding of their conditions. **Qualifications:** - Active West Virginia RN license or compact nursing license (pending license is acceptable). - Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, specifically in behavioral health or psychiatric settings. - Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), and First Aid (CPI can be obtained during orientation). - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and maintain professionalism under pressure. **Schedule:** - 3x12-hour night shifts (Monday to Sunday, every other weekend required). - The position may include holiday shifts, limited to one of the three major holidays per year. **Additional Information:** - A successful candidate must fulfill a state-required fingerprinting process in West Virginia at least 7-10 business days prior to starting. - Candidates must be familiar with and adhere to facility policies regarding attendance, and must provide documentation for any absences. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
