**Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)** **Shift:** 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM **Location:** Emergency Department **Address:** 100 McGregor St, Floor A, Building 2004 **Description:** We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will provide care to our diverse patient population, which includes individuals with multiple comorbidities and critical conditions. **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 4 in Annex (secure psychiatric area), 25 procedure rooms, and 8 hallway beds. - **Number of Staff:** 88 (combined job titles) - **Patient Ratio:** 4:1 with flexibility during acute surges **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals with various medical emergencies. - Conduct assessments and develop appropriate care plans based on chief complaints. - Administer medications and therapies per established protocols. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care. - Perform common procedures such as IV insertions, EKGs, trauma assessments, and more as needed. **Qualifications:** - **Required Skills:** - Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience for contract labor. - Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. - Strong critical thinking and assessment skills. - Excellent communication and adaptability. - **Preferred Skills:** - At least 1 year of Emergency Department experience for HCA hired staff. - Additional certifications such as MOAB are a plus. **Patient Population:** You will encounter a range of conditions including trauma, stroke, DKA, sepsis, and more. **Best Personality Fit:** We are looking for motivated, hard-working individuals who are creative problem solvers with a genuine desire to help and care for patients. **Work Schedule:** - Every other weekend for contract labor (RN). - Every third weekend for HCA hired staff. **Dress Code:** Professional scrubs are required.
