### Job Description: Respiratory Therapist **Shift:** Day Shift (0630-1900) **Contract Duration:** 15 Weeks **Schedule:** Three twelve-hour shifts weekly (36 hours), with no guarantee of hours **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care to patients across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals looking to make a difference in patient outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide continuous airway management and support, including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management. - Consult with physicians on respiratory care and perform CPR as necessary. - Utilize computerized charting and Pyxis medication management systems for patient care documentation. - Operate and manage respiratory equipment including PB 980, PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport Vent. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy. - Must demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients of all ages, including adults, pediatrics, and neonates. - Licenses required: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred. - Active State of Hawaii respiratory therapist license is required by the start of the assignment. **Additional Requirements:** - Candidates not currently holding an active State of Hawaii license must apply for licensure upon acceptance of an offer. - Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical/religious exception will be required prior to the contract start date.
