**Job Title: Travel Med Surg RN** **Shift:** Nights (7 PM - 7 AM) **Duration:** 13 weeks **Start Date:** ASAP **Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and skilled nurse with a strong background in medical-surgical nursing to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Administer general medication and provide care to patients in a medical-surgical setting. - Monitor patients remotely in collaboration with a telemonitoring technician. - Participate in post-operative patient care for surgical and bariatric patients. - Ensure adherence to quality patient care standards with a focus on safety and satisfaction. - Collaborate with nursing staff to manage a patient ratio of 1:6, with a maximum surge plan of 1:7. - Float to Medical Surgical Telemetry as needed. **Qualifications:** - Must have at least 1-2 years of recent travel nursing experience. - Telemetry experience is required. - Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory. - Experience with Cerner electronic health records is preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. **Facility Details:** - Size: 352 Beds - Unit Beds: 21 - Monthly Department Volume: 585 - Types of Services: General Med Surg, Post-Op Surgical, Bariatrics, and Oncology **Additional Information:** - Block scheduling is not available. - 48-hour guarantee requests are acceptable; must be indicated in the body of the submission. --- **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
