**Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Services** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical services team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing critical support to surgical teams. As a key member of the operating room staff, you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist with surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment. - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients pre-op, during surgery, and post-op. - Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to facilitate high-quality care. - Maintain and manage surgical instruments and equipment. - Implement and adhere to safety protocols and standards according to best practices. - Document patient care accurately in accordance with hospital policies. **Qualifications:** - Must possess a current RN license. - Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience, with a focus on CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting) procedures required. - Scrubbing experience is preferred but not mandatory. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Availability to work a minimum of 7 days of call per month, with the ability to choose between 5 - 8 hour shifts or 4 - 10 hour shifts. **Additional Information:** - An Act 73 clearance must be initiated upon offer acceptance to avoid delays. - This is a contract position with a guaranteed duration of 90 weeks.
