**Job Description: CT Technologist** **Position Title:** CT Technologist **Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) **Location:** Not specified **Overview:** We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. This position is open to first-time travelers and those with pending licenses. The ideal candidate will work in a supportive environment, with the opportunity to enhance their skills and contribute to high-quality patient care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures, including but not limited to 3D rendering, brain perfusion, colonography, and vascular imaging. - Administer contrast media and ensure patient safety through careful preparation and radiation safety measures. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care. - Maintain accurate patient records and reports using the Epic charting system. - Participate in on-call responsibilities, with one week and one weekend of backup call during the contract duration. **Requirements:** - Valid ARRT CT certification and BLS certification. - Active state licensure or pending license. - Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a similar role. - Familiarity with Epic charting system is preferred. - Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including starting peripheral IVs and performing venipuncture. - Must have a vehicle for transportation, as travel between facilities may be required. **Unit Details:** - Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care Hospital - Total Staffed Beds: 418 - Scrub Color: Any color for most areas (specific colors provided for certain departments) - Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics - Interdisciplinary support available from various hospital teams (Respiratory, Social Services, etc.) **Additional Information:** - Candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed. - Must commit to working three out of five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day). - Reference requirements: 2 supervisory references covering a minimum of one year within the last three years. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
