**Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist** **Shift:** 7A-7P **Location:** HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe, TX **Unit Information:** Join a Level II Trauma center with a 30-bed Emergency Department, a 36-bed ICU/CCU, and a Level III NICU. Our facility offers comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound services for all patient populations, ranging from neonates to geriatrics. **Typical Procedures:** As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform a wide variety of diagnostic ultrasound services, ensuring high-quality imaging and care for inpatients and outpatients alike. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound exams. - Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain and operate GE ultrasound equipment. - Adhere to established protocols and procedures within the department. **Qualifications:** - Required Certifications: - RDMS (Ob/Gyn) - RDMS (Abdomen) - RVT - BLS (American Heart) certification - Preferred Skills: - Previous experience in a busy ultrasound department. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically Meditech and PACS - McKesson. **Best Personality Fit:** Ideal candidates are customer-focused, team-oriented, capable of multitasking, efficient, and self-directed. **Floating Responsibilities:** You may be required to float to one of our outpatient imaging centers as needed, with the possibility of working at: - **508 Imaging:** Located on the first floor of the hospital, operating Monday through Thursday, 8 AM - 6:30 PM. - **Lake Area Imaging & Diagnostics:** Located 12 miles off-campus, operating Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM. **Dress Code:** Scrub Color: Hunter Green **Work Environment:** While there are no weekend or on-call shifts required, you may be asked to temporarily work additional or alternate shifts during critical staffing needs or community emergencies.
