**Job Title: Surgical RN - Orthopedic and Spine Procedures** **Shift:** 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM **Location:** Chattanooga, TN **Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) who specializes in orthopedic and spine surgical procedures to join our dedicated team. This position requires proficiency in circulating roles for various surgical disciplines, including neurosurgery and general/robotic procedures. **Key Responsibilities:** - Circulate in orthopedic, spine, and neurosurgical procedures including total joints, spine fusions, craniotomies, and robotic surgeries. - Maintain a high standard of patient care, ensuring safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures. - Collaborate effectively with the surgical team, including surgeons and anesthetists, to ensure optimal outcomes. - Utilize specialized equipment such as electrosurgical devices, Neptune suction, and patient positioning devices. - Adhere to the hospital's documentation systems and protocols using Meditech. - Participate in continuous education and stay updated with the latest technologies and procedures in surgical care. **Qualifications:** - Current RN license in Tennessee. - Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) national certification required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also mandatory. - Proven experience in circulating during orthopedic and spine surgeries; additional experience in neurosurgery and general/robotic procedures is preferred but not required. - Strong critical thinking and exceptional customer service skills are essential. **Unit Information:** - The surgical unit comprises 17 operating rooms and supports a variety of surgical disciplines. - Utilizes advanced technology, including the Synaptive Medical Modus V robotic digital microscope, the only system of its kind in Tennessee. **Dress Code:** Scrubs (provided) **Why Choose This Opportunity?** Join a team recognized for its commitment to surgical excellence and innovative care.
