**Job Title: CVICU Registered Nurse** **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM **Contract Length:** 91 Weeks **Position Type:** Full-Time **Job Description:** We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CVICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This position is critical for providing comprehensive care for high acuity patients following cardiac and vascular surgeries. The successful candidate will have a strong background in trauma nursing and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide nursing care for immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). - Monitor and manage high acuity patients with advanced hemodynamic monitoring requirements. - Demonstrate proficiency with ventilation, arterial lines, spinal drains, ECG interpretation, temporary pacemakers, and vasoactive/inotropic drip titrations. - Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of patient conditions to ensure optimal health outcomes. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to devise and implement patient care plans. - Participate in competency testing as required within 24 hours of submission. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2-3 years of CVICU experience. - Valid nursing license and ACLS certification (active and in good standing). - Strong critical thinking and communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and high-pressure environment. **Additional Information:** - Navy blue scrubs are required. - Candidates with pending state licenses will be considered. - This position may require flexibility to float to other units as needed. - The facility is a Trauma Level One center. **Facility Information:** - Number of Beds: [insert relevant information] - EMR System: [insert relevant information] - Parking location: [insert relevant information] Join a facility that values its healthcare professionals and offers a supportive environment for growth and career advancement. **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
