**Job Title: Emergency Department Nurse - Nights** **Shift:** Nights (12 hours: 18:45 - 7:15) **Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Department Nurse to join our healthcare team. This night shift position requires recent ED experience and a proven ability to thrive in a high-volume and fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care while working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department. - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team. - Handle a variety of clinical procedures and emergencies, utilizing your skills and experience. - Demonstrate effective communication and coordination with colleagues and medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities. **Qualifications:** - Three (3) years of recent Emergency Department experience required. - Previous travel nursing experience is required, with at least one completed contract assignment. - High volume and fast-paced emergency care experience is preferred. - Valid New Jersey Nursing License or Compact License. - Current certifications including AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS. - Certifications that are pending or that expire within 30 days of submission are NOT accepted. **Availability:** - Weekend shifts: Every other weekend. - Holiday shifts: One per contract, as needed. - Requests for time off (RTO) limited to no more than three days are accepted (no block scheduling or special requests). **Orientation & Training:** - Completion of a comprehensive orientation is mandatory for all new hires. Candidates who do not complete the full orientation may face immediate termination. - Candidates will receive an email with instructions for the Virtual Welcome meeting and the required online HealthStream Module prior to their start date. - Detailed schedule information for in-person training sessions and badge ID appointment instructions will also be provided. **Contract Details:** - Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. - Contract duration: 54 weeks. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
