**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Unit** **Shift:** 07:30 PM - 07:00 AM **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Telemetry Unit. As an RN, you will be responsible for delivering safe patient care by utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Your role will involve providing direct patient care within your scope of practice and directing patient and family education, as well as guiding other nursing personnel to maintain high standards of care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver safe and effective patient care in a fast-paced Telemetry Unit. - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on each patient's unique needs. - Communicate effectively with physicians regarding changes in patients' clinical conditions, cardiac monitoring, and diagnostic study results. - Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patients' conditions and responses to treatment. - Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans. - Maintain standards of care and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. **Requirements:** - Current and valid state RN License. - Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. - Experience in ventilator management is preferred. - COVID-19 vaccination and boosters preferred. - Proficiency with EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system is required. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Prior experience in a telemetry or critical care setting. - Current knowledge of nursing best practices.
