**Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)** **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (3 x 12-hour shifts) **Schedule:** Every Other Weekend Required, Holidays Required **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) ready to provide exceptional care in one of the most critical areas of healthcare. Our ED RNs are pivotal in responding to emergency situations and must be adept at caring for patients across all age groups. This role demands the ability to handle a variety of trauma scenarios with urgency and precision. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct thorough assessments of incoming patients with acute physical and mental health conditions. - Develop and implement effective nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs. - Deliver a wide range of professional nursing services while ensuring patient safety and comfort. - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to facilitate optimal patient care. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting. - Recent ED experience (within the past six months) is essential. - Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills to formulate effective nursing strategies. - Proven ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced environments. **Certifications & Licensure:** - Valid New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or a multi-state compact license. - Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, Telemetry, PALS, NIHSS certifications. - Completion of CEU Contact Stroke (4 hours) is required. **Job Category:** Clinical **Guaranteed Hours:** 36.00 **Contract Duration:** 89 weeks --- At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
