**Job Description: Emergency Department Registered Nurse** **Shift:** 11A - 11P **Location:** Emergency Department **Position Type:** Full-time **Unit Overview:** Join our dynamic Emergency Department, equipped with 30 beds and a diverse team of healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Our team consists of a Charge Nurse, 9-10 nurses, 2 techs, and a secretary during the day shift, with similar staffing levels during the night shift. We maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4, ensuring our staff can provide focused care in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department. - Perform conscious/moderate sedation and line insertions as required. - Utilize bedside monitors and IV/blood administration equipment. - Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records (EMR) using Meditech. - Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes. **Qualifications:** - **Required Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC - **Preferred Qualifications:** Previous experience in the Emergency Department is highly desirable. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster a positive and energetic work environment. **Unit Policies and Guidelines:** - Adherence to dress code: Scrub color - Royal Blue. - Must be flexible with scheduling, including 4 weekend shifts per schedule. - Floating may be required based on unit needs. **Why Join Us?** This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a critical care environment while being part of a supportive team that prioritizes both patient and employee well-being. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
