**Job Title: RN - Telemetry (Night Shift)** **Shift:** 19:00 - 07:30 **Location:** Pasco, WA **Number of Openings:** 1 **Contract Duration:** 91 Weeks **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry to join our Med/Surg team. This position is responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to adults and geriatric populations in a telemetry setting. The RN will have a comprehensive understanding of patient monitoring and will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and telemetry readings. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. - Provide educational support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options. - Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols. - Maintain accurate patient documentation using the Meditech electronic health record system. - Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards within the unit. **Unit Information:** - **Department:** Med/Surg - **Floor:** Telemetry - **Number of Beds:** 25 - **Patient Ratios:** 1:5 - **Supervision:** Under the direction of the unit supervisor. **Qualifications:** - Current RN licensure in the state of Washington. - Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required. - Minimum of 1 year of telemetry experience preferred. - Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills required. - Must be flexible and willing to float to other units as needed. **Education Requirements:** - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred). **Dress Code:** - Scrubs: Any color acceptable.
