**Job Description: Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Day Shift** We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a 13-week assignment. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience, with at least 1 year in a Level 3 NICU or 1 year of PICU experience. The selected candidate will work in both neonatal and pediatric care units, depending on the facility's needs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide respiratory care to patients in both neonatal and pediatric units. - Operate and manage ventilators, nebulizers, CPAP, and other respiratory equipment. - Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Assist in high-risk deliveries and respond to emergencies as needed. - Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies, equipment, and care. **Qualifications:** - Valid state respiratory therapy license required. - Certifications in BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS, and RRT are mandatory. - Minimum of 1 year experience in a Level 3 NICU or PICU. - Experience with a variety of respiratory therapies and interventions. - Familiarity with Epic or similar charting systems preferred. **Additional Information:** - Shift: Day, 3x12-hour schedule (06:45 AM - 07:15 PM) - Weekend coverage is required. - No on-call duties involved. - RTO requests must be pre-approved by the facility. - COVID-19 vaccination is not required, however, a flu vaccine is required with medical or religious exemptions considered. **Application Process:** Interested candidates must submit their application along with valid references and copies of certifications.
