### Job Description: Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work in an acute care hospital environment with a focus on outpatient pediatrics. The ideal candidate will possess a strong proficiency in pediatric occupational therapy, particularly in treating children diagnosed with autism and developmental delays. **Shift Information:** - **Schedule:** Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 AM - 03:00 PM) with options for 10-hour days if preferred. - **Patient Load:** Approximately 7 patients per day. - **Floating Requirement:** No floating between units required. - **On-Call:** Not required. - **Start Date:** ASAP. **Qualifications:** - **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of pediatric occupational therapy experience required. - Previous charge experience is preferred. - Strong familiarity with the Epic charting system is advantageous. - License must be current and valid in California; no temporary licenses accepted. **Patient Care Details:** - **Age Groups:** Adolescents and Pediatric patients. - Daily patient care will include activities of daily living (ADLs), assessments, and creating individualized plans of care. - Therapists will occasionally float to hospital units when outpatient census is low. **Additional Information:** - **Unit Environment:** Full-service outpatient clinic with interdisciplinary support. - Special procedures may include developmental testing and treatment. - Orientation and module training provided prior to the start date. **Certifications Required:** - Ongoing training as needed in specific therapeutic techniques related to pediatric care. **Why Choose Us?** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
