**Job Title: Travel RN - Medical Surgical Unit** **Shift:** Nights (18:45 - 07:15) **Location:** [Facility Location] **Contract Duration:** 91 Weeks **Positions Available:** 1 **Patient Ratio:** 6 to 1 **Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel RN to join our Medical Surgical Unit. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced nurses who are looking to expand their horizons while providing high-quality patient care. As a Travel RN, you will be required to work nights, including every other weekend. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients in accordance with established protocols. - Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with the healthcare team to implement patient care plans. - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic medical records (EMR), preferably with Cerner experience. - Float to other units as required, depending on staffing needs. **Requirements:** - Active Compact or AL RN License. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical Surgical nursing role. - Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred. - Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. **General Comments:** - This position is open due to a vacant position. - Please include home address and social security number in your application submission. **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
