Radiology Ultrasound / Sonographer

**Job Title: Ultrasound Sonographer** **Shift:** Days, 8 hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (40 Hour Guarantee) **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Sonographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams and procedures efficiently while adhering to physician orders. The Sonographer will work collaboratively with patients, physicians, and interdepartmental personnel to ensure excellent patient care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams (Echocardiograms, vascular studies, etc.) in a timely and efficient manner. - Assist physicians in performing radiology procedures. - Maintain scheduling and workflow during peak volumes to expedite patient care. - Ensure daily checks of exam charges and late lists within the ultrasound department. - Promote positive relationships with colleagues and maintain a collaborative work environment. - Manage inventory levels by maintaining supplies and implementing new methods for usage. - Adhere to safety and infection control policies and ensure equipment is handled safely within departmental guidelines. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment, completing standard cleaning procedures as required. - Respond promptly to on-call situations, arriving within a designated timeframe when needed. - Participate in hospital and departmental meetings and in-services, ensuring compliance with attendance policies and dress codes. - Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision. **Requirements:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer - Current registration as an Echo/Vascular Sonographer is required - Proficient in performing Echocardiograms with Definity Contrast - Capable of performing a variety of echo and vascular studies including TTE, TEE, stress echo, venous reflux exams, venous dopplers, carotid doppler, arterial doppler, ABI, pericardiocentesis, thrombin injections, and vein mapping exams - Ability to start IVs independently - Experience with MediTech is a requirement - Located more than 90 miles from Batesville is preferred **Certification Requirements:** - ARDMS certification - BLS (AHA) Certification **Benefits Overview:** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
