**Job Title: Respiratory Therapist** **Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts** **Location:** Flexible, in a facility with a total of 341 beds **Summary:** We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric or neonatal care and possess a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide respiratory care to patients ranging from neonates to adults. - Operate and maintain advanced respiratory equipment, including Puritan Bennett 980 & 840 and LTV1200 ventilators. - Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. - Perform assessments and monitoring of patients' respiratory status and treatment effectiveness. - Support in critical care settings as well as nursery and ER environments, as required. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist. - Must possess valid NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification, as well as BLS (Basic Life Support). - NY state license or proof of application required at the time of submission; please note that NY licensing typically takes 6-8 weeks. - Prior experience with EPIC documentation system within the last 2 years is required and non-negotiable. - Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including every other weekend and holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day/Eve. **Work Environment:** - The therapist will work 12-hour shifts, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a total of 2 days of orientation. - Light floating may be required across hospital floors. **Additional Information:** - Personal transportation is essential due to limited public transport options in the area.
