**Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team on a full-time basis, working a day shift schedule (3x12.0). The ideal candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care by ensuring adherence to the nursing care plan and supervising the efforts of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Patient Care:** Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission and utilize the data to create individualized care plans. Identify patient teaching needs and collaborate with the patient and interdisciplinary team to set goals. - **Documentation:** Ensure accurate, concise, and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses in accordance with institutional policies. - **Team Collaboration:** Actively participate in patient rehabilitation programs and communicate significant changes in patient status to support continuity of care. - **Patient Education:** Initiate discharge planning on day of admission and commence patient teaching to prepare for anticipated discharge dates. - **Leadership and Supervision:** Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel, ensuring effective delegation and organization of duties. - **Safety Focus:** Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to standards for safe handling, infection control, and environmental safety. - **Professional Development:** Pursue ongoing professional growth through continuing education and self-study while taking charge responsibilities as requested. - **Team Environment:** Foster a positive work environment by participating in team-building activities and effectively managing unit operations. **Qualifications:** - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required prior to first shift. - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required (for specific units). - Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience is required. - Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required. **Skills:** - Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. - Competence in patient education and rehabilitation strategies. **Benefits:** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
