**Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool** **Shift:** Night Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours **Weekend Requirements:** 36 hours **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Float Pool. The RN will provide crucial care in Med Surg/Tele units, flexibly adjusting to various units as needed. Ideal candidates must be capable of reading telemetry strips and proficiently entering data into the EMR system. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality patient care across various units as assigned. - Monitor and interpret telemetry readings. - Document patient care activities accurately in the EMR system. - Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. - Uphold the highest standards of nursing practices and patient safety. **Requirements:** - **Education:** Current RN License and relevant nursing degree. - **Certifications:** BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support). - **Years of Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in a clinical setting. - **Float Requirements:** Must be willing to float to other units as needed. - **Skills:** Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and communication skills are essential. Ability to read telemetry strips is required. **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** Varies based on unit assignment. - **Patient Ratios:** Dependent on the specific unit. - **Equipment:** Familiarity with EMR: EPIC preferred. **Team Fit:** We are looking for a reliable team player who values collaboration and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. **Dress Code:** Scrubs of any color are allowed, provided they are free from offensive language.
