**Job Title: Travel RN - Med/Surg** **Shift:** Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), every other weekend required **Location:** Greater than 50 miles from the facility **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med/Surg to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience and be comfortable with a patient ratio of 6 to 1. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver holistic nursing care to medical-surgical patients, ensuring patient comfort and safety. - Manage a diverse patient load with varying medical conditions, demonstrating proficiency in assessments, interventions, and monitoring. - Engage with patients and their families, providing emotional support and education regarding health conditions and treatment plans. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Document patient care in electronic medical records (EMR), preferably with Cerner experience. **Requirements:** - Active Compact or Alabama RN license - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Minimum one year of Med/Surg nursing experience - Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred - Ability to float to other units as required - Willingness to maintain flexibility in work schedules **Work Environment:** - Join a reputable facility with a focus on quality patient care, where teamwork and collaboration are highly valued. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
