**Job Description: Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)** **Shift:** 7A - 7P **Location:** Operating Room, 22999 Hwy 59 N, Kingwood, TX 77339 **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 460 - **Number of Staff:** 60 - **Patient Ratios:** 1:1 - **Type of Equipment:** All service lines - **EMR:** Meditech **Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong clinical expertise and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide direct patient care in the operating room during all surgical procedures. - Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and quality care. - Maintain accurate and timely patient records in the EMR system. - Monitor patient vital signs and respond appropriately during surgical procedures. - Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room, including sterilization of equipment and instruments. - Participate in patient education and discharge planning as necessary. **Qualifications:** - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. - Proven experience in various surgical specialties, including: - Trauma (general, ortho, neuro) - Orthopedic and spine procedures - Neurology, GYN, Urology, Podiatry, Bariatrics, Vascular, and Robotics (DaVinci Xi) - Organ procurement and Plastics - Preferred skills include: - Advanced Vascular CVOR (Hybrid OR) - Thoracic & Open Heart - Endoscopy (EGD and Colon) - Ophthalmology (limited to trauma procedures) **Personality Fit:** We are looking for individuals who are punctual, dependable, and flexible to accommodate the fast-paced demands of the operating room. **Additional Information:** - Floating may be required in Endoscopy. - All contract labor will require call and holiday call assistance. - Dress Code: Scrub color - Navy Blue. - Guaranteed hours and contract length of 91 weeks. **Why Work with ARMStaffing?** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
