**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical ICU** **Shift:** 7 PM - 7 AM **Location:** Medical ICU, 2nd Floor, North Tower **Contract Duration:** 91 Weeks **Guaranteed Hours:** Full-Time **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 22 - **Number of Staff:** 48 (13 New Hires Orientation) - **Staff Breakdown:** - Day Shift: 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), 1 Unit Secretary, 11 Nurses - Night Shift: 1 CNC, 11 Nurses - **Patient Ratios:** 1:2 - **Type of Equipment Used:** CRRT, Ventilators, MTP, Hemospheres, Arterial Lines - **Electronic Medical Record (EMR):** Meditech **Essential Qualifications:** - **Required Certifications:** BLS, ACLS - **Mandatory Skills:** - Critical Care Training - Pressor Medication Management - Arterial Line Management - Critical Drip Management - **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with Critical Drip Management - Experience with Arterial Line Insertion **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced Medical ICU environment. - Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring accurate and timely administration. - Perform specialized procedures such as Bronchoscopy, CVC, and Arterial Line insertion. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EMR. - Uphold unit policies and attend scheduled shifts, including weekends as required (4 weekend shifts per period). **Best Personality Fit:** - Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic healthcare environment. - Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and communication. **Floating Areas:** ICC, TCU, ICU **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Royal Blue If you are a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with a passion for critical care, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity in the Medical ICU. --- **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
