**Job Title: Med/Surg Registered Nurse - 12-Hour Night Shift** **Location:** [Insert City, State] **Shift:** 12-Hour Night Shift (Nights, Weekends as Scheduled) **Contract Length:** 91 Weeks **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Job Description:** We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Med/Surg Registered Nurses to join our 12-bed Medical/Surgical department. This unit is currently functioning as an overflow department to help offload the Emergency Department (ED) based on staffing availability. Our goal is to create a specialized, well-staffed team as we move forward. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality patient care in a Med/Surg setting. - Monitor and assess patient health status and coordinate care with a healthcare team. - Maintain patient documentation in our electronic charting system (EPIC). - Collaborate effectively with staff and management to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Support a safe and efficient work environment according to protocols and policies. **Qualifications:** - Valid nursing license (no specific state license required for submission). - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association). - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification. - Experience in Med/Surg nursing preferred but not required. - Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and weekends as necessary. - Background hits must be disclosed at the time of submission. **Working Conditions:** - Acute care setting in a fast-paced environment. - Nurse-to-patient ratios of no more than 1:6, especially at full capacity. **Why Join Us?** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
