**Job Description: Night Shift Registered Nurse (3x12-Hour Shifts)** **Position Overview:** We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Night 3x12-Hour shift (19:00 - 07:30) role. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of EPIC experience and must hold an active SC license or a multistate license. The position requires current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced night shift environment. - Float to various units as needed, ensuring competency and safety in all assigned tasks. - Manage and interpret dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure, and various patient conditions including sepsis, stroke, and acute respiratory distress. - Administer medications, including titrated cardiac and vasoactive drips. - Provide care and management for ventilated patients, including BiPAP and CPAP support. - Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and proper use of PPE. - Participate in interdisciplinary support initiatives, collaborating with physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and other support services. **Unit Details:** - Patient Age Groups: Adults and Geriatrics - Daily Census: Approximately 5 patients, with a patient ratio of 2:1 during shifts. - Unit specialties include the management of conditions such as sepsis, AKI, stroke, COPD, and post-cardiac arrest recovery. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 1 year of experience with the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system. - Must be willing to float to various units based on staffing needs and patient census. - Candidates should possess excellent clinical skills, the ability to work independently, and superior communication skills. **Contract Length:** Flexible contract lengths ranging from 13 to 20 weeks, specifically for holiday coverage. Must be available to work two out of three major holidays and will not be permitted to take time off from December 26th to December 31st. **Orientation and Onboarding:** Orientation hours of 24 will be provided, and all travelers will need to complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login information. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
