**Job Title:** Med/Surg Float Pool Nurse **Shift:** 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Med/Surg Float Pool Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in various medical-surgical departments, allowing for a diverse and dynamic work experience. The ideal candidate is adaptable, possesses strong clinical skills, and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. **Responsibilities:** - Provide nursing care to patients across multiple units, ensuring adherence to established protocols and procedures. - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patients' needs. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patients for reactions or side effects. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. - Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies. **Requirements:** - Active nursing license (RN) and current certifications as required. - Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a Med/Surg setting. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to thrive in fast-paced and changing environments. - Commitment to upholding patient confidentiality and ethical standards. **Compliance and Onboarding:** All candidates will be required to complete the following onboarding essentials: - Trinity Code of Conduct Form - Trinity Integrity and Audit Services Form - Trinity Joint Commission Testing - Trinity Criminal Background Check - Compliance with Health History requirements including immunizations and screenings (e.g., COVID-19 Vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, etc.) - Skills competency evaluations as appropriate. **Contract Terms:** - Guaranteed hours with a contract duration of 90 weeks. - Opportunities for growth and professional development within the organization. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
