**Job Title: Long-Term Care Nurse (Travel Position)** **Location:** Various Locations **Shift:** Varied (including weekends and holidays) - Must be flexible, with no guarantee of hours or shift preference. **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Long-Term Care Nurse to join our team on a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing within a long-term care setting and be proficient in the use of Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR). This role requires flexibility and the ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and provide necessary treatments. - Administer medications in accordance with prescribed guidelines. - Communicate pertinent patient information to the Medical Doctor (MD) or Nurse Practitioner (NP). - Assist with the admission and discharge processes. - Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) for residents. - Deliver specialized care, including: - Gastrostomy Tube care - Urinary Catheter care - Nebulized Treatments - Wound Vac care - CPAP care - Tracheostomy Care - Carry out all other assigned nursing duties as required. **Qualifications:** - Must have recent experience working in a facility utilizing Epic EMR (within the last 12 months). - Proven proficiency in Epic, with the ability to test out of Epic training during orientation. - Documentation demonstrating immunity to required illnesses is mandatory; medical or religious exemption requests will not be accepted. - Clearance documentation must be submitted two weeks prior to the assignment start date. - Must be available for clearance appointments on specified dates prior to starting the position. **Work Environment:** This position is located on-site at a Long-Term Care facility within a hospital setting. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
