**Job Title: Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment** **Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment offering 12-hour shifts with a scheduled 36 hours per week following a one-week orientation. Ideal candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using Epic EMR, having worked in a facility utilizing this system within the past 12 months. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical/Surgical unit. - Float to various units including Medical, Surgical/Pediatric, and Transitional Care (TCU) as needed. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and effective care delivery. **Requirements:** - Must possess 2-10 years of relevant nursing experience. - Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Preferred certifications include PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC. - Strong foundation in Epic EMR is essential, with the ability to demonstrate proficiency by passing Epic training tests. - Documentation of immunity for facility requirements must be provided to employee health; medical or religious exemptions will not be accepted. - Completion of clearance documentation is required two weeks before the assignment start date. **Shift Information:** - 12-hour shifts, scheduled for 36 hours per week post-orientation. - Flexibility is required as there is no guarantee of hours. **Unit Characteristics:** - Medical unit with 47 beds. - Surgical/Pediatric unit with 34 beds. - Transitional Care unit with 32 beds. - Nurse to patient ratios: Medical 1:6, Surgical/Peds 1:6, TCU 1:6.
