**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Transitional Care Unit** **Job Type:** Contract **Shift:** 12-hour shifts (1845-0715) **Weekly Hours:** Scheduled for 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Transitional Care Unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and should have experience in various Med/Surg units including Medical, Surgical/Peds, and Transitional Care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Transitional Care Unit while floating to other Med/Surg units as needed. - Demonstrate proficiency in Epic EMR and effectively navigate electronic documentation. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Implement nursing interventions and coordinate patient care based on assessments and clinical guidelines. - Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to dress code standards (clean scrubs). **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years and up to 10 years of nursing experience required. - Active BLS certification; ACLS preferred (along with PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC). - Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:6. - Must have worked in a facility using Epic EMR in the previous 12 months, demonstrating proficiency by passing testing out of Epic training during facility orientation. **Requirements:** - Documentation of immunity for facility requirements is mandatory; medical or religious exemptions will not be accepted. - Clearance documentation must be submitted two weeks prior to the assignment start date. - Completion of the clearance appointment is due on Thursday (9/18) or Friday (9/19). - The first day of work/orientation is scheduled for Saturday (9/20). **Equipment Utilized:** - Epic EMR - Pyxis - Wound vac - Chest tubes Join us and be a vital part of our dedicated healthcare team, ensuring the best care for our patients! --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
