**Job Description: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in providing high-quality surgical care in a busy, Magnet-designated Level I trauma center. The ideal candidate will bring expertise, compassion, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. **Shift Details:** - Type: 3x12 Hour Shifts - Schedule: Day Shift (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) - Rotation: Includes holiday and weekend shifts - On-Call Requirement: Yes, up to 4 weeknight call shifts per 4-week schedule **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures and ensure patient safety. - Actively participate in scrubbing and circulating during various surgical procedures. - Collaborate effectively with surgical teams, including physicians, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists. - Maintain and monitor sterile environments throughout surgical procedures. - Float between like units as needed, depending on facility requirements. **Qualifications:** - Active RN License in South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact License (consideration for pending applications). - Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room environment preferred; first-timers are welcome to apply. - Certifications: BLS required; radiation badge provided by the agency. - Prior experience in scrub roles is strongly preferred. - Must be willing to accommodate block scheduling upon approval and unit needs. **Facility Highlights:** - The main operating room features 21 surgical suites covering all specialties, including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. - Team dynamic includes a majority of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment. **Additional Information:** - Daily patient ratios vary, with a focus on quality patient care in a collaborative team setting. - Facility utilizes EPIC for charting, enhancing workflow efficiency and patient data management. **Parking and Amenities:** - Parking permit required with a nominal registration fee for garage access; additional fees may apply for alternative parking. **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
