**Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)** **Location:** South Carolina **Shift:** Day 4x10-Hour (06:30 AM - 05:00 PM) with on-call requirements **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our dynamic team within a Level 1 Trauma Center and Magnet-designated hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in a fast-paced operating room environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assess patient needs and develop care plans for surgical procedures. - Collaborate with surgical teams to provide perioperative care, including scrubbing and circulating duties. - Monitor patients pre- and post-operatively, ensuring their safety and comfort. - Maintain sterile conditions and adhere to infection control protocols. - Participate in emergency response procedures during assignments. - Float between units as needed to support patient care across like units. **Qualifications:** - A minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience is strongly preferred; first-time travelers are accepted. - Current South Carolina RN license, or Multi-State/Compact RN license. - Required certifications include BLS and a Radiation Badge (provided by the agency). - Preferred experience in trauma, transplant, ortho, neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics. - Strong ability to work in a team-oriented environment under high-stress conditions. - Must be open to accommodating a block schedule, contingent on manager approval. **Working Conditions:** - Position involves on-call responsibilities, up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks. - Will require working weekends, up to one shift every 4 weeks. - Travelers should be aware of hurricane season, which runs from June through November, as all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during this time. **Facility Highlights:** - The Main Operating Room consists of 21 OR suites covering an array of surgical specialties. - Opportunities to work with a team that includes 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists. **Additional Information:** - Local applicants within a 60-mile radius may be considered on a case-by-case basis, with adjustments in rates. - Parking is available at a designated facility garage; registration fees may apply. --- At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
