**Job Title: OR Registered Nurse (RN)** **Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Schedule (06:30 - 17:00)** **Location: South Carolina** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in a Level I trauma center. This position requires working 4x10 shifts during the day, including a holiday rotation and one weekend shift per schedule. As part of the surgical team, the OR RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures. - Assist in the surgical process by scrubbing and circulating as needed. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care. - Adhere to safety and infection control protocols. - Provide support and education to patients and their families. **Qualifications:** - Valid South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license. - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in the operating room setting is strongly preferred; first-time travelers are accepted. - Current certifications in BLS and a Radiation Badge (provided by the agency). - Previous scrub experience is highly desirable. - Ability to float between like units based on facility needs. **Working Conditions:** - The position is within a busy, Magnet-designated academic trauma center featuring 21 operating rooms serving various specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. - The nursing team is composed of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists. - On-call responsibilities will include up to 4 weeknight call shifts per 4-week schedule. **Additional Information:** - Local candidates within a 60-mile radius will be considered on a case-by-case basis, with an adjustment in the compensation rate. - The facility permits one shift cancellation every two weeks. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
