### Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Telemetry) **Shift:** 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will possess a current and valid state RN License, along with certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and preferably NIHSS or Stroke Certification. Experience with EPIC EMR is required. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver safe and effective patient care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. - Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, ensuring maintenance of professional nursing standards in a telemetry setting. - Direct and guide patient and family education while overseeing the activities of other nursing personnel. - Communicate effectively with physicians regarding changes in patients' clinical conditions, including diagnostic study results and symptom management. - Respond promptly and accurately to changes in patient condition and treatment responses. - Maintain familiarity with EMTALA regulations and protocols for reporting child/adult abuse, liaising with appropriate agencies and hospital social workers. - Uphold patient privacy and confidentiality at all times. **Qualifications:** - Current and valid state RN License. - BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. - NIHSS or Stroke Certification (preferred). - EPIC EMR experience required. - COVID vaccination/boosters preferred. - EDAP 1 and 2 certifications preferred. - BVP (MAB) training (preferred). **Professional Requirements:** - Must complete Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training. - Must have a valid Driver’s License or State ID. - Completion of various background checks and health screenings, including drug screening, physical health statements, and immunization documentation (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, etc.). **Why Join Us?** Joining our team means being part of a dynamic and supportive environment dedicated to healthcare excellence.
