**Job Title: Night Shift Registered Nurse - Med-Surge/Telemetry** **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM **Location:** Brevard, NC **About Us:** We are a leading critical access hospital, committed to providing state-of-the-art healthcare delivered with personal attention. Our facility is fully accredited and recognized for our exceptional service. **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 36 - **Staffing:** 50+ (Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 8 RNs, 3 CNAs, 1 HUC, 1-2 Sitters; Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 7 RNs, 3 CNAs, 0.5 HUC, 1-2 Sitters) - **Current Ratios:** Night RN 1:6/7 - **Equipment:** Medical remote telemetry monitoring, Cerner Patient Observation (CPO), VC150 systems in every patient room. - **EMR System:** Cerner **Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional nursing care to patients on the Med-Surge/Telemetry unit. - Maintain accurate patient records and engage in effective communication with healthcare team members. - Monitor vital signs and administer medications as prescribed. - Prepare patients for Endoscopy, IR, and OR procedures. - Support and mentor junior staff members and contribute to a positive working environment. **Qualifications:** - **Required:** - BLS Certification - Experience in Medical Telemetry - **Preferred:** - Leadership experience - Charge Nurse experience - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) **Ideal Candidate:** - Hard-working and compassionate - Team-oriented with a passion for patient care - Thrives in a fast-paced environment **Work Schedule:** - Must commit to 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule - Required to sign up for shifts that include Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays **Dress Code:** - Navy blue scrubs or white tops with navy blue bottoms **Join Our Team!** If you are ready to take the next step in your nursing career with a supportive and innovative healthcare team, apply today! --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
