**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Critical Care** **Shift:** 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Critical Care Unit. As an RN, you will play a vital role in delivering safe and effective patient care using the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Your responsibilities will include providing direct patient care within your scope of practice, guiding patient and family education, and overseeing the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining high standards of care in the ICU. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver direct patient care, ensuring safety and adherence to nursing standards. - Assess patients’ clinical condition and react quickly to changes, including monitoring hemodynamics and interpreting diagnostic studies. - Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient conditions and necessary interventions. - Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times. - Provide teaching and guidance to patients and their families regarding care plans and health management strategies. - Collaborate with other healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes. **Qualifications:** - Current and valid state RN License. - Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required. - Minimum of one year of experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, preferably in critical care. - Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification is preferred. - COVID-19 vaccination/boosters are preferred. - Experience with MEPIC EMR is required. **Additional Requirements:** - Completion of onboarding essentials including drug screening, immunization verification (including MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, etc.), and physical health assessments. - Must have a valid driver's license/state ID. - Candidates will be required to complete various competency and skills assessments. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
