**Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist** **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 16:00) **Duration:** 13 weeks **Schedule:** Monday to Friday **Overview:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for providing imaging services and diagnostics to patients using nuclear medicine techniques. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative environment, ensuring high-quality patient care while utilizing advanced imaging technologies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including PET and SPECT imaging, while adhering to safety protocols and standards. - Administer radiopharmaceuticals and maintain accurate records of radioactivity and doses administered. - Prepare and operate various nuclear medicine equipment for diagnostic testing. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret results and contribute to patient treatment plans. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of radioactive materials. - Monitor and support patients during procedures, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. **Qualifications:** - Required Certifications: ARRT N, CNMT, NMTCB, and BLS. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine technology. - Experience with charting systems, preferably Epic. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. **Demographics and Patient Care:** - Work with various patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. - Responsible for maintaining equipment and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during procedures. - Handle a daily average of up to 8 patients and maintain efficient operation within the department. **Additional Information:** - No floating requirement. - Orientation and onboarding processes designed to ensure a smooth transition into the role. - Must be willing to comply with all vaccination and health requirements. **Join Our Team:** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
