**Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift 3x12-Hour Position** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a Night Shift 3x12-hour position (7 PM - 7 AM) with a focus on the Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. This role presents an exciting opportunity for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy caring for a diverse patient population. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric patients with various medical conditions. - Manage a patient load of 6 patients per nurse during shifts. - Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Social Services. - Float to other units as needed, based on census and staffing requirements. - Participate in the implementation of patient care plans, including managing patients with respiratory conditions, diabetes, and surgical observations. - Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols. - Take part in required call duties and work 2 out of 4 holidays as required by the role. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting. - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license and BLS certification (ACLS and NIHSS preferred). - Proficiency in EPIC or comparable electronic health record systems. - Strong clinical skills, including blood product administration, IV management, and telemetry monitoring. - Capability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage hemodialysis patients. - Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to different patient needs. **Mandatory Requirements:** - Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding. - Flexibility with scheduling, including willingness to float or handle on-call shifts as needed. - Compliance with all pre-start requirements, including background checks and education verification. **Unit Details:** - Daily census of approximately 16 patients with a total of 30 beds. - Specialties include palliative care, end-of-life care, hospice, and psychiatric observation. - Interdisciplinary support from specialized teams, ensuring comprehensive patient care. **Why Join Us?** This is your chance to be part of a supportive and collaborative healthcare team that prioritizes quality care and professional growth. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
