**Job Title: CT Scan Technologist** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Scan Technologist to join our team. This role is essential for providing high-quality imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful candidate will perform CT scans on patients, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards. This is a full-time position, offering a 3x12-hour shift schedule (Wednesday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) with an on-call requirement. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform CT imaging studies in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols. - Ensure effective patient care and comfort during imaging procedures. - Maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and safety. - Administer contrast media when necessary and monitor the patient’s response. - Document and maintain accurate records in the electronic health record (EHR) system (Epic). - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on enhancing workflow and patient satisfaction. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Scan Technologist, with at least 6 months in a Level 1 Trauma facility preferred. - Valid ARRT certification (RT (R) (CT)) and current BLS certification. - Completion of a formal radiologic technology program. - Experience with Siemens imaging equipment is required. - Familiarity with EHR systems, specifically Epic, is preferred. - Must be able to provide a radiation badge from your agency, as the facility does not supply these to travelers. **Skills Required:** - Proficient in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and various CT procedures. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with patients and team members. - Knowledge of radiation safety practices and protocols. **Facility Environment:** - Teaching hospital with a total of 865 staffed beds and a focus on advanced cardiac care. - The unit typically handles a daily caseload of approximately 60 exams, with a significant emphasis on cardiac imaging. - The facility operates under Magnet designation, ensuring a high standard of nursing excellence. **Additional Information:** - All requested time off (RTO) must be included at the time of application submission. - Candidates must possess a valid South Carolina state license before commencing employment. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
