**Job Title: ER Nurse - Freestanding Emergency Department** **Shift:** 13:00 - 01:00 **Location:** 13338 Tomball Parkway, Houston, TX 77086 **Position Overview:** We are seeking experienced ER Nurses to join our dynamic team in a Freestanding Emergency Department setting. This position is ideal for nurses who excel in fast-paced environments and are dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide emergency care to a diverse patient population, managing high-acuity cases with limited staff resources until patient transfer. - Perform typical procedures including chest tube placement, intubations, conscious sedation, wound repairs, splinting using Orthoglass, nebulizer treatments, and ventilator management. - Utilize necessary medical equipment such as Lucas Devices, Nurse-run Lab equipment, CPAP/BiPap, Blanketrol, and Lifepack 15. - Collaborate with a small, cohesive team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. **Qualifications:** - **Required Skills:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a main ER. - Experience in a designated trauma facility is essential. - **Preferred Skills:** - Experience working in a Freestanding ER. - Paramedic License/Certification. - Proficiency in running lab equipment (Picolo, Istat, Triage Meter, ID Now, Clinitek). - **Certifications:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) **Work Schedule:** - Must be available to work at least 2 weekend shifts every 2 weeks. **Dress Code:** - Scrub color: Royal Blue **Why Join Us?** We offer a supportive work environment and value the contributions of our nursing staff.
