**Job Description: Occupational Therapist** **Location:** Springfield, MO **Shift:** 07:00 - 16:00 **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 **Contract Length:** 84 Weeks **Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team at a premier facility specializing in inpatient rehabilitation services. Our facility provides comprehensive recovery programs for patients dealing with strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, orthopedic injuries, and other complex medical conditions. **Responsibilities:** - Assess patients’ functional abilities and design personalized treatment plans. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care. - Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ daily living skills. - Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans based on patient response. - Document patient care and progress in compliance with facility protocols. **Requirements:** - Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years in inpatient rehabilitation (IRF) or skilled nursing facilities (SNF). - Preferred Skillset: Experience with neuro, orthopedic, debility, cardiac patients, or similar diagnoses. - Required Education: Current state licensure and relevant certifications in occupational therapy. - Personality Fit: Strong teamwork skills, effective communication, a solid work ethic, and reliability. **Facility Features:** - 60-bed capacity with specialized units for brain injury and stroke patients. - Access to high-tech rehabilitation equipment, including EKSO and InMotion robotic devices. - Private, family-friendly patient rooms with amenities for family involvement. - Opportunities to utilize unique outdoor spaces for therapy and healing. **Additional Information:** - Patient Population: Geriatric, adult, and pediatrics (ages 13 and up). - Standard patient-care ratio is 7:1, ensuring personalized attention. - No weekend or on-call requirements. **First Day Instructions:** - Scrub Color: Black - Time to Report: 7:30 AM - Please ask for Regina "Gina" Strires, Director of Therapy, or Beth Schmitz, Therapy Manager upon arrival. - Parking available at the front lot. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
