**Job Description: Registered Nurse - CVICU** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardio-Vascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality patient care to individuals with complex cardiac conditions. If you are a skilled RN with a passion for critical care and a commitment to patient-focused care, we want to hear from you! **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the CVICU, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing assessments. - Utilize advanced skills in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and critical thinking to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Support patients recovering from cardiac surgeries, including post-CABG, post-VAD, and post-catheterization care with various cardiac support devices (IABP, Impella, ECMO). - Participate in floating to other units as needed, adhering to floating policies and protocols. **Qualifications:** - Active Texas RN License (No temporary licenses accepted). - Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, with a strong focus on cardiac care preferred. - Current certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support). - NIH Stroke Scale Certification. - Proficient in documentation using Meditech or similar electronic health records systems. **Preferred Skills:** - Exposure to IABP and CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) procedures. - Advanced certifications in cardiology or critical care nursing. **Unit Highlight:** - Work in a dynamic and supportive team environment dedicated to excellence in patient care. **Dress Code:** - Navy scrubs required; uniforms must be clean and neatly presented. - Maintain a professional appearance, including neat hair and trimmed facial hair. - Visible tattoos must be covered, and non-ear piercings are prohibited. **Additional Information:** - Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating weekends required. - Attendance policies emphasize punctuality and commitment to scheduled shifts. **Join Our Team:** If you are ready to take your nursing career to the next level and make a difference in the lives of patients, apply today! --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
