**Job Title:** Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift **Location:** Akron, Ohio **Shift:** Night (3x12-Hour; 19:00 - 07:30) **Position Overview:** We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a night shift position. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients in a telemetry unit, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure the best patient outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. - Monitor vital signs and recognize changes in patient conditions. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care. - Maintain accurate patient records and charting in the electronic health record system. - Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans. - Adhere to established protocols and safety standards. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required prior to travel. - Must hold a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand at the time of submission. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required. - Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient assessment and care management. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. **Additional Information:** - Orientation and training will be provided. - Candidates must be willing to undergo background checks and drug screenings. - Applicants are required to supply one supervisory reference from previous employment in the specialty. **Why Choose Us?** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
