**Job Description: Med/Surg Tele RN - Night Shift** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a night shift basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical telemetry nursing, demonstrating both clinical excellence and the ability to provide compassionate patient care. This position involves working three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit. - Monitor patients’ vital signs and manage telemetry equipment to ensure patient safety and comfort. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while educating patients and families on care procedures. - Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records using electronic charting systems. - Respond promptly to patient needs and assist with activities of daily living. - Participate in staff meetings and ongoing education to uphold standards of care. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to application. - Current and active state RN license in Ohio or a compact state. - BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required. - Previous charge experience preferred. - Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. **Unit Details:** - Work within a supportive team environment with emphasis on clinical excellence. - Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities. **COVID-19 & Flu Vaccination Requirement:** - COVID-19 vaccination is required with exemptions available for medical or religious reasons. - Flu vaccination is also required with exemptions available for medical or religious reasons. **Compliance & Background Checks:** - Candidates must have no significant background checks or license issues to qualify. - Candidates are required to complete necessary background checks and fingerprinting promptly after contract signing.
