**Job Title: Travel CT Scan Technologist** **Shift:** 15:00-23:00 (5x8 Hour Evenings, 3 PM - 11 PM, Every Other Weekend) **Duration:** 13 Weeks **Position Overview:** We are seeking a highly skilled Travel CT Scan Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional diagnostic imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients under the guidance of a Radiologist and department protocols. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform diagnostic CT scanning procedures including, but not limited to, CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities. - Administer contrast agents during CT studies while practicing sterile techniques. - Maintain accurate records and review images for technical quality before uploading to PACS for interpretation. - Collaborate with radiologists to ensure timely and efficient patient care. - Adhere to safety and confidentiality protocols to protect patient information. - Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of CT examinations, including CTA work and stroke protocols. - Utilize EMR (Cerner) for documentation and patient management. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist. - Must be ARRT (CT) certified and state-licensed as a general radiographer. - Proven history of computer usage required. - Ability to work independently with minimal clinical supervision. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. **Additional Information:** - 48-hour weekly guarantees are not approved for this role. - Block scheduling cannot be approved. - Working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy is essential. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
