**Job Title: Surgical Technologist - Travel Position** **Shift:** Days, 07:00 - 17:30 **Duration:** 13 Weeks **Schedule:** 4x10 Hour Shifts, Call Required **Description:** We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of surgical technology experience and a strong background in various surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, OBGYN, podiatry, plastics, endoscopy, and trauma. This role requires both adult and pediatric experience. **Responsibilities:** - Prepare the operating room and ensure a sterile field - Set up surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions - Pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon during procedures - Manage and maintain the sterile field and surgical specimens - Conduct counts of sponges and surgical supplies to prevent retained foreign objects - Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe surgical procedures **Requirements:** - Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program or equivalent - Valid BLS certification - Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical technology - Experience in general, orthopedic, OBGYN, podiatry, plastics, endo, and trauma **Facility Information:** - Number of Operating Rooms: 6 - Facility Size: 99 Beds - Patient Ratio: 1:1 - EMR Systems: MedHost (Inpatient), PICIS (OR) **Additional Notes:** - Call is required, including at least one weekday and a weekend rotation - Fingerprinting is required for all travel personnel - Hospital scrubs will be provided - This position does not guarantee 48-hour workweeks or offer blocked scheduling **Join us and advance your career in a supportive environment!** --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
