**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Night Shift)** **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM **Contract Duration:** 13 weeks **Hours per Week:** 36 **Weekend Requirement:** Every Other Weekend Required **Holidays:** As Needed **On Call:** No **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry care. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians in delivering high-quality patient care. The role includes planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care tailored to individual patient needs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Evaluate patient needs and establish priorities for care through continual assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans based on patient assessments. - Initiate assessments relevant to the patient's problems, medical diagnoses, and functional health framework. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care effectively. - Document nursing care in accordance with established standards and patient acuity levels. - Advocate for evidence-based practice and support the adoption of innovative care delivery methods. - Provide patient-centric care that aligns with established professional nursing practice models. - Fulfill additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. **Requirements:** - **Required Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience is required. - **Required Education:** Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited institution. - **Preferred Education:** Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). - **Required Certifications:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association - New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse License or multi-state compact license - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam - **Preferred Certifications:** None specified. **Skills:** - Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for effective patient care. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and advocate for patients. - Ability to provide care for telemetry patients and float to other adult inpatient areas as needed. **Why Work With Us?** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
