**Job Description: Registered Nurse - Telemetry** **Shift:** 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM **Contract Duration:** 13 weeks **Weekly Hours:** 36 hours **Weekend Requirement:** Every Other Weekend Required **Holiday Requirement:** As Needed **On-Call Requirement:** No On Call **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with a focus on telemetry patient care. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, assisting physicians, and implementing individualized care plans based on the patient’s needs. Your expertise in telemetry will be essential in managing patient care, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practice standards, and documenting care according to established protocols. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct thorough assessments to determine patient needs, priorities for care, and develop personalized care plans. - Implement, coordinate, and document nursing interventions based on patient conditions and standards of practice. - Advocate for evidence-based care standards and support the adoption of innovative practices in care delivery. - Manage the overall care of telemetry patients and perform therapeutic nursing interventions as necessary. - Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient-centered care. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience. - Proficiency in caring for telemetry patients, including the ability to recognize and respond to changes in patient condition. **Education:** - Required: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing school. - Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). **Certifications & Licensure:** - Required: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA - New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license - NIH Stroke Scale Certification - Telemetry Certification or successful completion of Telemetry Competency Exam - Preferred: N/A **Job Category:** Clinical **Guaranteed Hours:** 36.00 **Contract Weeks:** 43 **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
